Last night, Wednesday, November 9, 2016, we were honored to be invited to present at the Colorado Technical University Aurora Campus at their career fair.
We met students from a variety of nationalities and age groups as we talked about the importance of learning how to give good presentations and practice public speaking and presentation skills on a weekly basis…in a supportive environment.
My story was always the same when students asked me about Toastmasters, where I would say, “If I was in a Toastmasters club when I was in college, I would have gotten A’s in all of my upper level courses.”
Personally, I believe EVERY student should be required to be an active member in a good Toastmasters club. What an amazing difference it would make.
But, this message is about you!
Would you give yourself an “A” in your presentations to prospective customers or groups?
Why settle for anything less?
Come and visit our Toastmasters club today and see how it all happens. We meet every Thursday 11:20-1:00 p.m. at the Colorado Technical University (CTU) Aurora location at 3151 S. Vaughn Way, room 424. (near Parker road & I-225)
Be sure to see the map before attempting to find the CTU campus if it’s your first time in the area.
We are all students of communication. Come learn and grow with us.
All the best,
Marty Dickinson
