One of our newer members is off and running in the speaking spotlight! Dr. Ryan Dunn of Mile High Spine and Sport will be presenting “Exercise, Aches and Pains Oh My!” at the Amazing Aging Expo on September 28, 2013 at the Marriott Tech Center. 4900 s. Syracuse Street, Denver, CO 80237. An estimated 500 will be in attendance.

Great job Ina for taking the challenge and speaking at the annual Aurora Toastmasters open house sample meeting yesterday. The purpose of an open house is to invite the local community to see how a normal normal Toastmasters meeting runs. So, Ina was given the opportunity to present one of her speeches so visitors could see what kind of speech a member might deliver at a typical Toastmasters meeting. She chose her 2nd speech from the Competent Communication manual where she could speak about any topic she wanted, but her objective was to “Organize Your Speech.”
